I recently saw a beautiful home featured in Rue Magazine and stumbled upon the owner of the apartment's blog (she is a freelance journalist by profession) where she featured the sources for all of her home furnishings. She decided to start a blog, gather a loyal audience and then ask fellow design enthusiasts for help over the past few years in deciding everything from sofa fabric to wallpaper. Here are some of the photos from this beautiful Manhattan home.
The sofa is a Templeton Sofa from Jonathan Adler, the white chairs are circa chairs from Room & Board, and the coffee table is from Clayton Gray Home. Most of the pillows throughout are from an Etsy shop called Plum Cushion.
The dining table is from Julian Chichester and the dining chairs are Z chairs from Plexi-Craft. The cushions are also from Plum Cushion (the Etsy store listed earlier). The owner of this home designed the subway tile style mirrored wall and had it made by a local mirror man. Almost all of the vases in the house are from Home Goods.
Both of the end tables are from Mecox Gardens, and the round tobacco leaf table is from Space Interiors. The sculpture on the sofa table is a Shona Sculpture from the Hemingway Art Gallery, the lamps are from Restoration Hardware, the round shagreen mirror is from Made Goods, the pleated roman shades in white silk dupioni are from The Shade Store, the bar cart is from Go Home, the sideboard under the TV is a vintage piece, the lucite bench is custom made, the round sheepskin was made by ABC Carpet and the walls are a custom blend of two Benjamin Moore metallic paints.
These pendants are from Circa Lighting, the counter stools are from Space Interiors (similar ones can be purchased at Z Gallerie), the marble is Calcutta Gold, the painting is done by the home owner herself and can be found in her Etsy shop.
This chair the owner of this home picked it from the side of the road and recovered it in a silvery linen.
The bed is made custom by a local upholsterer, the side tables are Bungalow 5 available at Clayton Gray Home, the wallpaper is Imperial Trellis in noir from Schumacher, the rug is from Stark, the bed spread is from Prima Linens, the bed roll is custom from Plum Cushion, the mirrors behinds the lamps are from West Elm, the wingback chair and the dresser is by The New Traditionalists, and the vintage camel stool used as an ottoman is from The Bodega Shoppe.
