Zug at Vorstadt

The Vorstadt 14 House in the town of Rug is an old building whose architectural history dates back to the 15th century and has been carefully renovated. The three units FACE, BRAIN, & SOUL serve different purposes. FACE provides functional contemporary infrastructure ideal for banquets , cocktail parties & social events. BRAIN, can be rented for several days or weeks and provides the amenities and comfort of a hotel. SOUL is the penthouse to be rented privately will be available for public access on special occasions. Here are some photos of SOUL.

Rustic Chic

The beginning of December marks the start of the holiday season and the desire to curl up by a roaring fire; because San Diego does not have much in the way of snow I thought I would share with you a family who originally from Newport, CA made the ultimate wintery retreat in Ketchum, Idaho. The Turners wanted a rustic home that did not look like a luxury log home or a modern ski chalet. In Mary Lynn Turner's words, " I wanted a house that looked like we had rescued it, like we brought it back to life."
