Lake Huron

On the edge of a tiny island accessibly only by boat this buoyant home lives the life aquatic. The stairs feature a geometric pattern of holes generated by a software script that allows rain to slip through to the lake below. Building codes didn't allow a full kitchen but a galley kitchenette continues the compound's simple palette of white and Douglas fir.The sleeping cabin perches on a rocky rise near the floating house nearby.
